We have arrived!
Day one is now officially in the books. OK...to be perfectly honest, we haven't started doing any renovations yet, but the leaders started the process by meeting and purchasing the necessary materials from Home Depot so that we can start first thing in the morning tomorrow. The rest of us? Well, we spent the afternoon at a welcome outdoor picnic with the staff and some of the families, along with Pastor Don, who is in charge of the ministry. That was very nice of them!

Pastor Don (last pic above) shared with us in the evening the history of SAFE Family
Ministries. It was very moving, and really allowed us to remember why
we're here. There are no coincidences. God WANTED KAC to be here this
week. I really felt His presence. Everyone is pumped about this
week. The kids are excited to be spending a whole week with their
church friends AND attending VBS to be held at Pastor Don's church
nearby.
Time to go to sleep so that I'll be ready to go tomorrow morning.
Internet via cellphone seems to be working ok. I don't expect too much
work from my job tomorrow, but we'll see.
