Cloudy, muggy day. No beach today. Boys are in a 10' diameter 3-ring pool we bought for the twins. They're actually taking a bath in there...don't ask.
Finally ate at Zippy's after 3 days of homecook meal. Mmm...Zippy's....
Took the boys to see "Ant Bully". I was a bit skeptical at first, since there have already been 2 ant related films (ants, a bug's life) released in the last 10 years. But, it was pretty good, if not a bit preachy (loner boy gets shrunken the size of ants, learns about the beauty of working together like ants, and...surprise...saves the day for the ants!).
My wife and I finally went out on a date...without the kids...for the first time since the birth of the twins some 13 months ago. We drove to Ward Theater..the only movie theater in town (kahala mall theater is closed due to flooding from earlier this summer, Restaurant Row is now a $1 cheapo old flicks theater, and Waikiki theater is closed permanently) and caught Superman Returns... I know...why not catch a newer film right? Well, our reasoning was that we should have some time next week to catch another film, and was afraid Superman Returns would be yanked off the theater by then. I thought the film was quite entertaining. In the near future I'll post a *semi* professional review on my *semi* professional film blog at blogspot.
